Global Warming is one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. The climate is heating up, the polar icecaps are melting, and species all over the planet aren’t able to adapt which is contributing to a rapid increase in extinctions. The resources that we have available on this planet must be used responsibly. If it were up to industrial businesses, safety to the environment and the management of resources would go unchecked. Species Extinctions are occurring at an alarmingly fast rate. According to the Global Species Assessment – biodiversity and species extinctions are declining at a rate in which new species aren’t able to keep up. It is estimated that 10,000 species have gone extinct in the last 100 years. The root cause of these species extinctions are thought to be mainly human-induced habitat encroachment, pollution, and hunting.
