We need an economic system that rewards sustainability and public health in our food systems. If conventional foods are going to have long term negative health effects, maybe we should stop subsidizing them so heavily (and maybe even encourage organics more).<BR/><BR/>Also, there are CSAs. In areas where these are available it is a great way to lock yourself in for a year for the same price. Not only are these organic, but also local.
